Latin Jazz Chords (March 2012)
Latin chords sound nice on a classical nylon string guitar.
G6Add9 to Aminor6 are 2 chords that create the latin sound.
These chords are derived from the GMajor scale. The 4 note chords are located at close intervals working up the fretboard from the third fret to the 15th fret to complete the octave.
This is an ideal way to learn to locate jazz chords and their inversions across the fretboard.
Guitar modes does not use note names, we use the scale or mode degrees.
The Guitarmodes method lays out the degrees you need to create latin jazz chords.
